PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The neutron detector LB 6419 was developed for the determination of dose and dose rate in particle accelerators. In this environment, very special conditions prevail for dose monitoring, such as pulsed radiation or high radiation energies. Many conventional measuring instruments for ionizing radiation suffer from dead-time effects and are therefore only suitable to a limited extent for measuring pulsed radiation fields.

Dual Detector Design

The Dual Detector Design is patented and provides great measurement
The gamma dose rate in the pulse can be detected with the plastic scintillator as well
Dual Detector Design provides in addition a security far better than any other REM counter
Two independent interlock signals round out the security concept
