Gold Star Quanta

Very high Tritium efficiency (55% unquenched with conventional counters, 70% with Hidex TDCR counters) provides time saving when counting to statistical limits.

Gold Star

A multi-purpose LSC cocktail.

Capable of accepting not only up to 10 ml of dilute aqueous samples in 10 ml cocktail, but also lesser amounts of more concentrated aqueous samples.

Gold Star is highly suitable for assay miniaturisation as well as routine counting.

Extremely resistant to chemiluminescence and is therefore suitable for use with the solubilised samples resulting from the use of solubilisers such as GoldiSol, AquiGest and Hyamine hydroxide.

Much higher Tritium counting efficiency than similar high sample capacity, competitive products and therefore offers timesaving when counting to statistical limits.

REACH regulations classify NPEs used in this cocktail as SVHC’s (Substances of Very High Concern) and therefore this cocktail is available for Research & Development use only.

Gold Star LT2

Gold Star LT2 is used to measure Low Tritium levels at Low Temperature.

Gold Star LT2 accepts up to 12 ml water in 10ml cocktail with Tritium counting efficiencies approaching 28% with conventional counters and >30% with Hidex TDCR counters.

At 10 ml water in 10 ml cocktail, using optimised windows and low level count mode, Gold Star LT2 provides MDA’s approaching 1.4 Bq/L with conventional counters.

Gold Star LT2 is used to determine low levels of Tritium in different water samples and provides a stable counting system for all loadings at temperatures down to 12°C.

  • Stable at temperatures down to 12°C for sub-ambient counting
  • Compatible with urine samples encountered in bioassay work
  • Suitable for use with samples in mineral acids up to 4M makes it ideal for alpha / beta counting

  • High flash point of ~ 140°C increases safety

Gold Flow

A high flash point safer cocktail designed for use in Flow Scintillation Analysis (FSA).

Gold Flow has low viscosity and is non-gelling.

A high sample load capacity combined with rapid mixing makes Gold Flow ideal for use in FSA.

Gold Flow resists quench, providing higher counting efficiencies and therefore more counts per peak.
