Active Guard

The advanced Active Guard is a separate scintillator detector which detects and subtracts real-time background radiation. The guard can be turned off for high energy samples and does not interfere with alpha/beta separation.

Digital Pb shield

Digital Pb shield is a proprietary Hidex spectral fitting algorithm that improves counting performance by utilizing spectrum information for active sample tritium counts and background counts.

TDCR Technology

 Uses triple-to-double coincidence ratio (TDCR) counting with three PMTs for absolute counting efficiency without external standards. It’s versatile for both chemical and color quenching across various samples and effective for beta isotopes and Cherenkov radiation.

Luminescence-Free Counting

 Operates in triple coincidence mode, eliminating chemiluminescence interference and allowing immediate counting of samples like 14C without dark adaptation.

High Efficiency

 With PMTs aligned at 120°, it provides superior detection geometry, especially under high quenching.
