Whole Body Scanner

The Noki XSpec 10 (Whole Body Scan) is an advanced in-vivo monitoring system designed for measuring internal radioactive contamination in radiation workers exposed to high-energy gamma emitters. It addresses the need for rapid and efficient whole-body monitoring in facilities overseen by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), particularly in situations involving gamma-emitting radionuclides.

This system is capable of detecting most fission and activation products encountered in nuclear and radiological environments. With a monitoring time as short as one minute, the system supports high throughput, enabling the screening of approximately 25-30 workers per hour. The WBS10 is built to achieve sensitivity comparable to conventional whole-body monitoring systems and is sized to accommodate 99% of the body dimensions of Indian occupational workers.

Detectors

Equipped with two 4”x4”x16” NaI(Tl) detectors, offering efficient monitoring with separate entry and exit portals for optimal subject throughput.

Shielded Enclosure

The system’s shielded enclosure is designed to maximize internal space while meeting strict detection limit requirements. It is also easy to assemble.

Multi-Channel Analyzers

Includes two parallel 1024-channel MCAs that capture spectra from different parts of the subject. The NaI detectors are equipped with integrated electronics subsystems, all easily replaceable and connected via a single USB cable for power and data transfer.

Control Software

Integrates NaI detectors, BMI scales, and additional accessories on demand. Optional facial recognition software automates employee lookups and new registrations without internet access.

Go-no-Go System

Automated dose calculation-based decision system with real-time report uploads.

Third-Party Integration

The system can integrate with external devices like cameras and BMI scales for precise dose estimation, with historical data retrievable via Employee ID, batch runs, or other metrics.
